This morning an earthquake of 8.9 on the Richter scale hit the islands of Japan, in what was described as the worst earthquake to hit Japan in 100 years.
This has spread waves of the tsunami on the shores of Japan as well as spread fears of a tsunami hitting countries such as New Zealand, the Philippines and Indonesia as a result of this earthquake
