Mohammed Morsi, Muslim Brotherhood Candidate was announced the 5th Egyptian president this evening about 2 GMT, who was also described as the revolution candidate.

Morsi got about 13 million votes vs 12 million votes for his competitor Ahmed Shafik, 25 million Egyptians voted from about 50 million who have the right to vote.
After this result Tahrir square was filled with signs of celebrations with this result, on the other hand there was some few protesters in Nasr-City against this result who were few of Shafik campaign, these protests were soon ended by Egyptian army who warned many times about any protests against election results, the results that is said to be first clean election results in Egypt history.
